Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone has had sharp stabbing pain in top of leg and than goes down to ankle and then it leaves aching this has happened twice in the space of a week and second one hurt more I

Is this part of fibromyalgia?

Sounds a bit like cramp or even poor circulation hun- maybe call 111 for more advise as they can look at your medical history, dont think its fibro, is your mobility poor?

I assume this affects your posture and mobility? Bierlein do you have a physio who looks after you from time to time? I swear by hydrotherapy, I use a warm pool every week and would go evry day if i could, It does invigorate me a bit and it helps me sleep, I can alter my posture in the water without pain during and after..Maybe ask your gp if there is one near by (you might have to travel a few miles) but it might help. For low back ache I have discovered Voltarol Plasters (not heat pads) you can sleep in them too, they do relieve my aches and pains at the back, I also have a TENS machine which I can leave attached and get around with it switched on.. Voltarol plasters from local pharmacy mine orders them for me.

Mobility ok I have had physio on off for two years I do work .
