Hi folks hope you are as well as can be today. I have just been diagnosed recently with fibromyalgia after a long time off being shunted from pillar to post. Today I am in pain with my neck elbows hands and chest pain anyway just wanted to post here and say hi.

Hello, you have come to the right place. Everyone here is very helpful and supportive and I am sure will answer any questions you have. I have not been a member here long and I don't post often, but I often read posts and It is helpful just to know that others know how you feel. My GP recommended that I join a forum and I have to say it is the most helpful thing I have found. I am sorry you are in pain, it often takes time to sort out the right medication, as we are all different. I hope you find some relief soon. Sandra x

Just like to say welcome. Have you had a chance to look at our mother site Fibromyalgia Action UK as there is a wealth of information about treatments, things to do etc to help with pacing and pain. Some alternative treatments can really help. Do try and get a referral to a Pain Clinic if you can. Look forward to your future posts.x
