Oh well have had several in the top 20. I can commiserate with the poor person who was not given enough lidocaine during a root canal treatment. Dentist hit the nerve and they literally had to peel me and him off the ceiling and yes I already had fibro then so that started a major flare. Oh happy days.x

I had a wisdom tooth infection. It would be in one of my top 20.

Yes I had an extensive abscess that actually went under 4 teeth. He drilled through the tooth and it was literally a clean up job at the dentist, I won't go into anymore detail 😵. About on a par with one in the eardrum. I'm leaving it at that I remember the pain if both too vividly even though it was years back.x

spider555 Yes had one under 4 teeth won't go into the first details of what they had to do, about in a part with one in the eardrum when I thought my brain was going to explode. Or perhaps the time I had shingles on my faces, in my mouth, eye and ear.😵.

Mind you it gives us good training for the fibro pain as at the moment some little 😈is drilling a burning hole through my spine, oh happy days..😠

Hi. I read a similar article and was thankful to find fibromyalgia included. Just a few short years ago Doctors couldn't even agree that it was a real disease. And I agree 110% about timely diagnosis', much more effective treatments and not anything as horrible as Lyrica and all it's nasty side effects. [drug doesn't work anyway] More research is a must, I would happily volunteer as a guinea pig for any research studies done for fibromyalgia.

The awareness and understanding is coming along, albeit slowly. It took some members of my family [MY OWN FAMILY!!] 20 years to believe I was as sick as I claimed to be ["But you look so good!" "You don't look sick."] I think it was when the fibromyalgia/Lyrica commercials started playing on TV...You know how it goes..."If it's on TV/internet it MUST be true!"

Sadly my pain is through the roof tonight. My back hurts and my legs are weak. I ordered delivery Chinese, having my dinner, maybe find something to watch on Netflix and put my PJ's on..

Daughter and babies are coming home some time tonight, they've been away since Friday evening. It has been SOOOOO quiet here. LOL

Sometimes we just have to find a way of zoning out in order to cope. Takeaway Chinese my favourite, I always feel more comfortable when I have my PJ's on, haven't got Netflix but a good detective book does it for me.x
