Hi Jontyhull34 welcome to our wonderful forum ☺ I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you, talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro and learning from their experiences.

It does help with the whole process and I wish I had found the site years ago. I have had Fibro for nearly 30 yrs and I'm still learning about it, like we all are.

I'm sorry I can't help you with the Small vessel ischemia. TBH I've never heard about it before and I'm going to do a little research.

Please do go look at the mother site where you will find all the information you need and lots of useful links on Fibro and I look forward to chatting to you on the forum.

Hi Jontyhull34

I am so genuinely sorry to read this my friend and it is not something that I suffer with. I have pasted an excerpt below form the NetWellness cache:

*Less blood flow means that the brain tissue can be irreversibly injured, which is referred to as "ischemic injury." Some MRI reports may state that "perivascular chronic ischemic white matter disease of aging" is seen.26 Dec 2007

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

Hi welcome Julia on counting my spoons has a thread about things like this saying those with Fibro are prone/open/susceptible to Ischemic attacks i guess something to do with the muscle fibres not controlling blood flow

I just received news that I have this. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a year ago and am still going thru testing to rule everything else out. Upon that testing when doing an mri or my brain. This was found. I don’t know how it relates or what this means for my future.
