Found this in the park at Wallsend. It is in one of the wild flower patches which have been planted this year. Still in flower and probably will be until the frost starts. Dont have in ID for it. I particularly love the hairy bud. Hope you are all having a great day. Helen X

Well the flower looks rather like a Cranesbill Geranium. Gorgeous colour whatever it is.x

Absolutely wonderful photo my friend and thank you for sharing. This is a wildflower called ''Corncockle'' (Agrostemma githago). Recently the BBC Countryfile offered viewers free packets of wild flower seeds via the Grow Wild project run by Royal Botanic Gardens Kew. These included seeds of the corncockle.
