Took this about 2 hours ago. A lovely double begonia jeweled with raindrops. Still in flower and will be until the frost finishes it. Hope you are all having a good day. Helen X

Stunning slomotion - I love begonias but have only ever had indoor ones which I haven't had much luck with in the past - it's probably about time I tried again ;)

I love your tree frog! I have 1 sitting on a shelf in my bed frame and another in a piece of art framed on the wall. So cute!!

Thanks BonnieSue - more and more frogs have slowly infiltrated my home/garden over the last few years!!

Approx. 12 years ago, I used to have nearly 200 frogs in various shapes/forms/materials/pics...... you name it.... 'til my ex took a disliking to them and I, stupidly, got rid of all but the most expensive/favourite ones :(

10 years ago I met my now OH and he collects bottles, old earthenware pots and the like so he's ok with my frogs luckily :D

Give them another go - they rot if overwatered. I love your tree frog too. Helen X

You've inspired me slomotion - my biggest failure was one I had in my teens (too long ago to mention!) which I made the mistake of trying to re-pot which it objected to by dying soon after :O

xx

P.S Pleased you like my treefrog - I've had a 'thing' about frogs since I was 9 yrs. old, we were on holiday in Scotland and I saw a toy, 'bean' filled one, my mum wouldn't let me have it but I sulked (which was something I NEVER usually got away with) so, as my gran and granddad were with us they persuaded mum and dad to take us back to buy it - I still have him (Freddie) complete with over-large stitches where he split open when I cuddled him in bed and sewed him up myself (with gran's sewing kit) rather than confess to mum what had happened - the black (he's two-tone brown) cotton was kind of a giveaway!! Eeee reminiscing a lot the last couple of days ha ha

I can't believe that my climbing rose has decided to bloom again. It has 2 full flowers and at least 6 buds. I also have a miniature rose which never bloomed this summer and it has just opened the most beautiful little pink rosebud on it.

gentle hugs Joolz.x

I have noticed many roses around and about that are having a second late blooming. It has been a long and mild season - think this change to the easterly airflow will finish off many things. Lots of lovely seasonal colour about to make up for it. Helen X
