Confused lady

I signed up with this website a long time ago and never got anything send to me at all. Suddenly I get several messages per day. I replied to a few of them but I need some help as I have no idea how to find the messages that are ment for me. The way it looks to me I get continuisly the same messages send. Can someone please tell me on what exactly to focus . Than's guys.

Hi naturagirl Sorry you're finding the forum confusing.

You should get an email each morning giving you a summary of the day's posts. Click on the first one and you will go straight to the page. Then you can decide which ones you want to read. If you belong to both the fibro community and the pain community you will get an email from each.

To find posts which respond to one of yours click on the bell at the top of the page. This will have a red circle round it indicating the number of people who have either liked or responded to yours.

If the red dot is next to your name it means that you have a private message. Click onto the circle and then on the word`new` which is highlighted in red to read the message.

To get back onto the forum click my communities and then on Fibromyalgia action.

Hi naturagirl

If you have clicked on the box on your account on the forum that you don't want to receive daily emails as mentioned by annacruachan you should not be getting a daily email.

If someone has written you a pm (private message) there will be a red circle next to your username at the top of the screen with a number in it. The number indicates how many messages you have.

If someone has mentioned your name in a post (for example I have mentioned Anna's name above), you will then receive a notification of the reply you were mentioned in.

The notification button is the bell 🛎on the top bar on the screen next to the "help" button.
