Hi Abbie...and welcome. I gather you are looking to buy a new mattress for your bed which will be comfy for you. Do you have fibro? There are so many different mattresses and each one will suit someone...I can only suggest you go to a store and try out a few to see which is more comfortable for you....I have a memory foam which is great for me....everyone is different..

Hope you find the one for you....

Hi madabs.

I have got chronic pain & I had to get a new bed and mattress a few years ago now.

I found a memory foam mattress & adjustable bed to be perfect for me.

You will be best to go into a bed store & try the different beds & matteres.

Please let me know if I can help you further???

Steve.

Hi Abbie & welcome to the forum ☺I'm sure you will love it as we all do. Have you got Fibro ?. I have a mattress which is memory foam one side & orthopaedic the other side, it is very comfortable. I still spend half my life trying to get comfortable lol but it's best one I've had.

Hi abbie and welcome! You have some good advice here, try out different beds in the stores. I have an adjustable sleep number bed. I keep it very firm at 95% firm. I have a handmade, homemade little pillow from my beloved sister that allows my head and neck to be straight in alignment with the rest of my body. I use another large pillow for support between my knees on my side and one for back support and so on as needed. It's quite a process to get in or out! I hope you find exactly what you need and have many comfy hours of good rest every night.

Trying a matress out is the best advice. Don't be rushed as you will be spending a lot of time lying on it. Spend as much as you can afford. I tried a Tempur and it felt like lying on a concrete block. I settled on a combination matress, I think it's a mirror coil spring bottom with a memory foam top. Memory foam can be very warm so I make sure my matrest cover is all cotton and it's fine.

My feelings are to go to a bed shop and lay down on a few on display for about5-10 minutes and see how you feel when you sit up, you will be able to feel support where YOU want it. I,m lucky I have an adjustable bed operated by remote but I have to turn and top n tail the matress regularly to keep its support even. All beds should have their matress turned to keep support good except the memory foam they are supposed to do it themselves

Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. Just like Steve49 I also have an adjustable bed with a memory foam mattress and I truly love it. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you
