Hi new to this - may need help!
Hello and welcome,
When you refer to "bottom", do you mean your back passage?
I get pain and aching in large areas of my pelvis.... sometimes it feels like it is in my bladder, sometimes like "period pain" ( it's not because I am post menopausal!), Sometimes in my bowel/ back passage (maybe due to my irritable bowel syndrome).
This condition is certainly a "pain in the backside!!"
Hope this helps xxx
Also, hope it is ok to post this..... but "intimate" relations with my partner can be painful.... hence the in frequency of this happening... hope this is not too much information!!!!
Hi would 69, I had intermittent pain on sitting, especially on hard chairs. Now it is permanent, it is cocydenia. You can look it up on Internet and see if this is what you mean .
Well, with me. My butt muscles cause me great pain and when my inner though muscles get really bad they will pull on the muscles in my groin lower stomach areas. So check muscles, rub around muscles if they are tight then they may be the cause. If they are inflamed they may be super sensitive, so you be judge on it. But I find comfort in massaging them so you may as well. Stretching helps me a lot as well. Lower back pain I stretch the butt muscles. With one leg straight I bring the other bent up so that my calf is going across my chest, foot to the opposite shoulder. Just bring it as high as it is comfortable to stretch, that stretch is my go to for lower back pain.
A quick Google search can show you how to stretch relief for lots of different muscles.
Anyways hope you find something that helps.
Oh thanks for that, I will try some massage see if that helps, so many different symptoms affecting different people!
I am quite active (ex Aerobic Instructor) mainly walking now though & the pain is a lot less when active, more when resting.......unless it's just more noticeable! But particularly worse in the evening! Originally thought it was a reaction to certain foods as eating nuts etc seemed to bring it on but ruled that out now so will see if the colonoscopy shows anything.
Many Thanks, take care x
Hi Woz69
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I have pasted you a link below to our mother site, FMA UK which hosts loads of useful Fibro information:
I get pain in my buttocks due to a compressed sciatic nerve and I also do not have a coccyx as it has withered away due to my Osteoporosis. If this is a persistent or a new symptoms I would talk to your doctor about this just to have other medical conditions ruled out of the equation. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
