Hi, can someone help.

Yes I would definitely inform them, then at least they have a record of when you were diognosed with fibromyalgia, take care, x
I think that is a good idea as they can never say you didnt.I would write f own all details if you call like date, name of person with whom you spoke etc...or if mailing a letter make copy and send 3 day mail for a signature.Good luck.Peck🐤
Sorry I can't help you. Good luck though.
Hi
You do need to inform them as it is a change in your circumstances ,however they are most likely to send you a new application form to be completed.
Good Luck
Rose
Yes, please let them know. It's important to inform them of any changes. They may decide that you need to be reassessed.
I really hope that they decide to reassess you. Gentle hugs. Let us know how you get on. X
Hi bassqueen
The DWP say that you should inform them of any change in your circumstances. However, please be aware that it is more than likely that they will send you forms out for a new claim.
I have pasted for you below and excerpt and a link to the *GOV.UK cache on change of circumstances:
*Change of circumstances
You must contact the PIP enquiry line if:
your personal details change, eg your name, address or doctor
the help you need or your condition changes
you go into hospital or a care home for more than 4 weeks
you go abroad for more than 13 weeks
you’re imprisoned or held in detention
You could get a £50 fine and have to repay overpaid benefits if you don’t report changes and are overpaid as a result.

Hi ,yes I have informed them ,and yes they are going to send out a new application. My hips are.really hurting today .
once again thankyou x
Absolutely.I don't know how bad you're Fibromyalgia is right now,I hope it's not causing you too many problems and never gets worse. But just in case its worse than youve said my advice would be to inform the PIP people straight away as it is a change in your medical condition which could get worse and should that happen you don't want any problems claiming for a higher rate.
Wishing you all the best.
Hi yes like the rest have said you need to tell them. You are like me I had other problems and got PIP low rate and then I was told in Dec 2015 that I have fibro and was told to tell them as I needed more help. I phoned then up they sent me a new form to full out sent it back two months later had to go for a new assessment had that last Friday now just a waiting game to hear from them.
Hope yours goes a little better xx take care
