I am having a pip assessment in my home next Wednesday 1/6/2016.
I was wondering if anyone would give me some information about this and what I have to expect to do and go through it would be very much appreciated thanks guys.

Hi bob
Best thing is to be completely honest on how things are for you day to day.
They will ask you questions and if you can't demonstrate and answer such as bending down cause it's painful or leaves you dizzy, then say you can't for that reason.
By being 100% honest you won't have any reason to worry about the future and neighbours saying things on how you are etc
It's a relaxed process especially as you are in your home
There can be horror stories but for me PIP was fine ....
If they say can you prepare a meal, just talk through the process it has on body during and after the meal re fatigue or dizziness.
Honesty all the way... There's no tricks or magic words to get more points as some may think. Lol
Enjoy! And just take your time
Andy
Hi, FMA UK benefit helpline is 0844 887 2450 or you can email charity@fmauk.org.
Hello bobajob- nurse Gladys Emanuel (open all hours) I had my assessment on sunday last 22nd at a centre, whilst I waited for this I made a word document over a period of time; about everything that affects my daily life with these horrible illnesses, I left no stone unturned incl struggling with personal hygiene!! write it all down have it all ready and advise the assessor that you might need to refer to your notes as you can get brain fog, verbal and mental blocks, look like you just got out of bed, don't, let them see you as if you are about to go to a party! Good luck I,m sure it will be o.k I was advised last half hour I have been awarded PIP that was very quick!!
Hi bobajob
I have pasted you a link below entitled: CAB - Preparing For A PIP Assessment. It tells you exactly what to do and say, and what not to do or say!

Also, as Hazel_Angelstar says, you can contact our FMA UK benefit adviser (Janet) and she could help you. I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck with your assessment.
All my hopes and dreams for you

Oh, and I completely disagree with andyglasgow2016 ' s post, they do ask trick questions and answer all, as if it was your worst day, full stop! !
Hi guys, I would just like to say thank you for all the advice that you have given me and of course I will let you all know of the outcome of the pip award or none award as soon as I can once again thank you
