I'm a new one here on your site. My fibro is getting worse and the fatigue anyone know about oxygen treatment and does it work

OMG! if you are so bad I think a trip to A&E would be in order, I don,t know anyone who needs to get O2 for Fibro??? anyone else this bad?????

I have had Fibromyalgia for over 30 years and been a member of the forum for 4 years and I have to say that I have never heard of oxygen treatment being used to treat this illness.

I hadn't heard of oxygen treatment so I googled it. Found a "oxygen therapy centre" that uses "chambers" to provide treatment for various conditions including MS. On the front page is a customer review or testimonial that discusses their treatment for Fibromyalgia. As I understand it, it's a treatment to help alleviate symptoms in the short term - it's not any kind of cure and would need to be repeated. I have no idea of the costs involved.

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance.

I have read some good results by patients using ''Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment'' but it effectiveness for Fibro and other related illnesses are still not picked up upon too much by the NHS unfortunately. I have pasted you a link for the NHS England cache on Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy:
