Hi my friend, as far as I am aware at this moment in time they are illegal in the UK unless they are on prescription? That's if they are made from the original stuff itself?

However, there is an alternative called Medipen, which is legal in the UK. This is a liquid inhalation alternative. I use one of these myself and I have had some good results from this. I have noticed that too many inhalations gives me a headache but not enough and it does not work. So it is a question of finding the right amount.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken :)

Well I've learnt a lot from these posts! :-)

Do you get the inhalers on prescription Ken?

I'm so sorry you are having such a tough time Gothbird. I totally understand why you would be looking for anything that would help! Hopefully there will be a legal prescription made with canabis in the future - actually I thought there was going to be one for MS?

Unfortunately I by them privately (direct from the licensed company), and they are very expensive to do so. My wife has Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and so it was initially for her that I bought it, but I have found that it also helps me.

You can get a limited product called ''Sativex'' for MS on prescription, this is another Cannabis derivative. However, not many doctors feel that it has any medicinal qualities despite its license from NICE. I do wonder if it is to do more with the price than with the medical evidence?

There is another drug called LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone) which has been used for MS in the the US for many years that has some good results but it is not licensed fro MS or Fibro in the UK and is only available on Private Prescription.

Thanks for all the info Ken. My Mum has severe MS and now has 24 hour care. Thanks to my sisters persistence she get nhs funding enabling her stay at home! Although she is extremely disabled now, she doesn't really get pain than goodness. Unlike me with my Fibro!

There is a slightly cheaper alternative to the Medicean it is called kana-Vape, I have just ordered one. I chose it over the medi pen not only cos of cost but also they tell you the % in it for each batch they recive, where medi pen says nothing about the % of active ingredient. So it could only be realy low like 2%. You can get cbd tablets over here, but when you ingest it like that you loose some of the active ingredient In the digestion process. Or if you don't mind ordering from America you can get cbd sweets and chocolates.
