Hello everyone I want to know from some of u do u think it would be a bad idea to wear my fibromyalgia t-shirts to work

Yea cos I bet no one at my work knows it's fibromyalgia awareness week let alone heard of the condition

Yes if you can. I have actually been surprised that a friend has put about the awareness week on her Facebook page and when I thanked her she said her couisins has it and she had seen at first hand how debilitating it is. There are more of us out there than we realise.x

Depends on where you work and what you do. Definitely will be ask to explain. Then co-workers or boss may judge your ability to do your job. Just some thoughts because people judge each other all the time.

I have some of the old tee shirts from FibroAction and I have worn these on numerous occasions and hopefully drawn some awareness to Fibro?

If your employer does not mind you wearing them I would say go for it for awareness week? Good luck!

I would ,cause it shows to your boss ,that you have excellent work ethics ,with a condition like FIBRO ,and that means alot ,your a hard worker ,standing on your feet all day ,I know ,I was a Hairdresser with ME ,it was really difficult ,but I did it.

Now ,I'm afraid I can't work and its soul destroying. I have other health issues ,as well as ME ,FIBRO.

But I'm trying to start back to work Setting up a charity,I'm just sorting it out at the moment, the profit I make will go to FIBRO and ME and Cancer ,iv got to do something ,iv allways worked ,I had 3 companies ,up until 10 yrs ago .

I'll be selling solid silver Jewellery an costume jewellery and Hand made gifts .

So I hope everyone will look on my Website when it's done an Face book.

I hope that will please you all ,iv noticed that ME is getting mentioned now on TV ,but not FIBROMYALGIA ,and as I have both I think that's Disgusting .So let's all wear a T SHIRT tell the world what we have .

I thought it would help get the condition out an about.TV ,This Morning would be a good idea ,they did ME ,but not FIBRO,I don't know if I could do TV ,I think I would ask Ken to do it ,he's the man with all the knowledge.

I hope it takes off ,every little bit helps ,keep your fingers crossed an legs ,ha ha

Manu, I think he would have heart failure ,ha ha .I think that has to be my mission ,get FIBROMYALGIA on TV ,I will look in to it .if I get good feed back ,I have a chat with FIBRO charity and Ken .
