Hi guys just want to wish you all a great day x x and to have a wee moan I am taking gabapentin 400mg 3 times a day to be honest not finding it much use for pain I have Dr on Tuesday looking for any advise really on what to do next been off work for 3weeks just feel so exhausted all the time and sore but the lack of sleep is driving me nuts 😞😝😢 I also had a weird experience in my jaw this week woke up in morning with it all swollen on the left side sore to move jaw like really bad stiffness but my teeth felt fine any Idea what that is or is it just fibro x x Thanks guys sorry for moaning x x

Hi I'm trace and new on here but I was taking gabapentin and they didn't work for me either. Now just been put on pregabalin and tramadol early days but let u know if they work.

I was on Gabapentin for a long time and it didn't really do lot for me. I was switched over to Duloxetine and this has really helped a lot!!!!! Much more effective for me. I shouldn't have waited so long before trying something different.

I am so genuinely sorry to read that and I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck for your doctors appointment. There are plenty of other medications that you could discuss with your GP, and 3 of them have been mentioned in your other replies. There is also Amitriptyline or Nortriptyline for a couple more.
