Just a quick question really! I'm having a pretty bad flare up this week and have been thinking things over in my head and just wondered if anyone here has PCOS as well as fibromyalgia? Wondering if their could be some sort of link.
Thank you in advance. Gentle hugs and well wishes 😻

I am so sorry to read that you have Polycystic ovary syndrome (if I understand you right?), and I genuinely hope that you can find the answers that you are looking for. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck.
In answer to your question, even though this is an big 'if'! If the chronic nature of PCOS & the stress over a period of time was enough causitive stress to the body it may have caused you to have Fibro as a secondary condition. However that being said, it may have easily been from another cause like trauma, viral infection, whiplash etc etc.......
Have any of your Healthcare Professionals mentioned to you whether they think your Fibro has a possibly cause like your PCOS or whether your Fibro is primary or indeed secondary due to other conditions?
You can read more on our website about diagnosis and Fibro coming secondary to conditions like Hypermobility, Arthritis etc
