I need something which will help me carry things frm one room to another, ( through 3 doors opening in diff directions. A rollator seems over the top as there are seats along the way.
The purpose made aids are all so ugly.
Anyone used a folding three wheel contraption, or any knowledge of what may help, please?

Fortunately, I don;t need anything like that at the moment but a lady who comes to my book group has just bought one. It is the folding three wheeler which seems quite lightweight and has somewhere to put things so she can take things from one place to the other. Before she was having to rely on two sticks and was having real difficulty now she seems to just whizz everywhere. manouvering in tight spaces seems to give her a bit of a problem but of course she is still using "L" plates as she has only had it two weeks.
Hope you find something that suits you. I am sure others will come up with good ideas.x
I have a very compact, lightweight rollator which has a roomy bag on the front, which I use for most things. I also have a trolley which has 2 layers that I got from the occupational health service which is great for moving things from room to room. Here is a link to the rollator ableworld.co.uk/products/63...
My wife and I have a trolley on wheels that doubles up as a walker, and we find it invaluable at taking food and drinks from the kitchen to our living room (the bungalow hallway is over 30 feet long). She cannot carry a cup of tea due to her MS and I tend to shake somewhat.
