Hi BeccaBurton
I have read about this but I have not tried it. It does encompass mindfulness which is something that I have tried. I am all for any treatment or therapies that may help? I want to wish you all the best of luck if you decide to give it a go?
All my hopes and dreams for you

Hiya,
I have undertaken a similar therapy ( Mickel therapy) which teaches you to "listen" to how your body is responding to situations and how to deal with them to keep your symptoms to a minimum.
Sorry this sounds complicated, but it all about learning how to handle your condition and doing what works for you!
I now manage my fibromyalgia by pacing and accepting my limitations and being well organised (I very rarely take any pain killers and work part time)
The therapy was quite expensive and I had a 10 week course, but it was probably worth it because I am now able to live a worthwhile life. It is basically a "talking therapy", but I now have to practice what I have learnt from it every day and I have to be very strong and determined to make it work.
If you have any other questions l am happy to try and answer them for you xx
Hi Becca,
I investigated this last year and think it's really promising but unfortunately, we can't get it on the NHS.
The only thing I'll say is that it from my reading, it appears to work better for those who have just one or two issues to cope with ie. CFS and Fibromyalgia but as soon as you throw in additional medical issues, it can get quite difficult for the brain to 'manage'. Perhaps the trick is to focus on 'reversing the fibro' then dealing with the other issues separately.
Do continue your quest and share anything you find that might be of use to the rest of us.
Wishing you all the best.
