can't believe my supervisor is no sick with heavy cold 3rd time in 3 years.

I work full time as store manager, it is getting harder and harder, I got some very good staff that understand, but I have no support from my supervisor, she has been with me 3 years and has had 4 sick leave, 3 for heavy colds and 7 weeks for a op to remove a lump from her neck, it gets me so up tight, she has no idea how it is for us with FM, rant over, off to work on what should have been my day off, but she has a heavy cold!!!!!!!

I can understand how upset you are at having to work on your day off ... Just when you had probably made plans to enjoy the weather and rest and recharge your batteries... Your supervisior actually sounds quite reasonable ... Only being ill once a year plus needing an operation....

Have you any support plan in place at work for when you are ill... You need your days off also if you are ill at the same time as your supervisor there would have to be something in place

Oh dear - I do hope she doesn't pass her cold on to you and all the other staff. These viruses wreak havoc at work, and you don't want to get it - fibro is bad enough on its own without an infection on top of it.

I hope you are able to have a day off in lieu of this one!
