I'm writing this because I feel that there has to be some truth to the fact that food allergies and med side effects can cause a lot of problems Can I suggest looking up The Lectin Story on google and make up your own minds if what we are eating contributes in some way to how we ache Hope you all have a good day

I am certain nutrition has a huge affect on our health. Our bodies were designed to heal and protect themselves, Our modern day diet is greatly lacking in the nutrition it needs to do that. Food allergies, polution, stress, sickness, it all takes its toll, Medications and their side effect of meds also play their part.

Diet and nutrition does play a huge part in how we run our bodies. You wouldn't run a car which was low on petrel ,needed an oil change and new plugs! You would run it into the ground and along the way other bits would go wrong and your exhaust might drop off..!,

More seriously google candida,( all connected to leaky gut) i was able to go to a private Dr , which my sister funded when the s...t hit the fan in my engine...l have been on a anti candida diet since -as well as having lots of allergies..check out Erica White candida book. Won't go on in your space...will write a blog Sooooon and introduce myself ( when l get my head from under the bonnet of my car)...best wishes

Yes you are spot on. There are very few medications I can take (I found it hard to accept, but eventually had to, and my GP and most doctors still think I am a nutter - as if I would refuse medication which would make me feel better when I often feel so ill), and although I have had a lot of allergy tests and they are all ok, I have had major allergic reactions including swelling of my throat where I have to go to hospital as an emergency but I still don't know what causes them - but I am sure in my mind that it isn't food because I have tried an elimination diets and it didn't make my symptoms any better. I have to keep to a diet for Interstitial Cystitis and that very very restricting as I have to change the constitution of my urine from acid to neutral so can't take on any other dietary regimes, although I always eat very healthy food and no junk food - in face we grow a lot of the food I eat. I think that the world in which we live is full of pollutants and that is a big problem for allergies.

Hi Voutton,

Have read the report interesting.

I will always sit up and take on board the possibilities of certain foods that can exasperate

And heighten the pain of fibro.

It is worth while excluding certain foods to see what happens with this condition
