As many of you may know, Fibromyalgia Syndrome (Fibro or FM) affects at least 1-in-50 people or around 2 million people in the UK alone.

Despite its impact and the large number of people affected, awareness of Fibro, particularly in the UK, remains very low. Many people with Fibro struggle to get diagnosed and then struggle to access effective treatments, despite there being a huge amount of research on the condition.

FibroAction is the only UK charity to put making up-to-date, reputable and evidence-based information about Fibro more readily accessible at the heart of what it does. FibroAction needs support to be able to carry on doing the work they work and to expand that work.

So, why not use this weekend as an opportunity to raise awareness and/or fundraise for FibroAction.

Anyone can support us, by raising awareness or helping with fundraising.

Why not check out our Ebay Auction, arrange a Dinner 4 Good for this weekend, buy our awareness wristbands or email us for a fundraising pack to do a sponsored event.

If you would like a Fundraising pack before this weekend, please email: info@fibroaction.org

as soon as possible because we need to post it tomorrow to ensure it reaches you in time!

If you would like to see information on how you can get involved please see link below;

Please can you also click on our Thunderclap & show your support as we need to reach 100 supporters by May the 12th !

Let's continue to raise awareness together !

I have put up posters in town and a lovely lady in a vintage dress shop has MS so she understands and is dressing her window in purple and putting up posters and has the leaflets on her counter. Opposite her is a health food/ alt medicine shop and he is putting up posters and is willing to talk to people about herbal remedies that other sufferers find helpful. I have put my mobile number on the posters so that if anyone who is feeling alone in fibro locally can call me. I will give them the link to this site.
