I could barely lift my arm past a certain point. Especially that night the pain is right in the bone of the muscle. If I try to turn my arm it makes matters worse.

Hi there, have you spoken with your GP about this as it could be down to several things, most of which can be addressed either with physio other intervention. I had a shoulder replacement nearly four years ago now and the restriction of movement and deep unspeakable pain were horrendous, so I do know what you are going through. Please do speak with a medic about this as I really hope they can do something to ease your situation.

So sorry to hear you are in this pain as Foggy says it would be good to have the problem looked into as it might be something like a Frozen shoulder and nothing to do with fibro and might be easily treated.
let us know how you get on.x
Hi hatelupussucks
I am so sorry to read that you are suffering in this way, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue. It may be best to discuss this with your GP or Medical Specialist just to get other things ruled out of the equation. I want to wish you all the best of luck.
All my hopes and dreams for you

Hi, it sounds like my symptoms are exactly as yours. Dread going to bed, arm pain is horrendous and I can't lift my arm past a certain point. Attended a specialist appointment yesterday who basically told me that due to the years of suffering with osteoarthritus in my neck (3 car accidents) causing numbness and pain in my arms, this will have consequently triggered off the fibromyalgia causing the muscle pain in my arms and body. Now I have to figure how to adress this with my bosses. I work as a housekeeper, wince with pain through each day to the point where I just can't cope anymore. My GP gave me an 8 week sick note pending specialist appointment and specialist said don't resign as work by rights should find me work that I can do. It's not going to happen as there is no other work for me, can't even sit at a desk as looking down for more than a minute kills my neck and have to stop like as I type this now, awful pain, god knows what I'm supposed to do. Just received forms to complete for PIP. They told me it takes 9 months before processed upon receipt of the paperwork back, omg what am I supposed to live on in the meantime other than the sick pay of the minimum rate through work. Don't know if they can finish me as obviously I can't do the job anymore, not sure where to go with all this
Go to drs honey. Mine has ended up being nothing to do with my fibro. Its very similar to what you describe and is shoulder impingement quite common apparently. Waiting for my referral now.
