Hi, i had a cyst removed from my right Ovary,why am i not pregnant? i was told it takes 6 months after the surgery.

Hi, i am sorry to here this. I myself had tubal surgery 4 yeas ago and was told within 1year would be pregnant.. This has still not happened. It could be another issue that they will look into next time you see you specialist. It seems that they can only deal with one issue at a time because there really are so many causes of infertility. Mine is because i do not ovulate now and no amount of clomifene makes me. Just try not to get stressed by it and seek further advise from your specialist. Good luck..ive lost count of the number of years weve been trying.. I just cant give up.

Having a cyst removed from your ovary is only going to resolve that problem. Often after surgery it can take up to 12 months for everything to settle back down to normal. Perhaps you might need further investigations to find out if there is another problem that may be interfering with you trying to get pregnant. On average a couple having unprotected sex are advised to try for 2 years before further investigations are carried out, so maybe you need to be referred again to discuss your options.
