I took the test the hospital gave me today and it was a negative although the line was really faint so I took my clear blue one

Hi hun it looks like your pregnant ! Is today your testing day? If so congratulations !!! The line is faint at this point as your hcg levels are only low. If you do it again in a weeks time you will see it gets darker and darker. The clear blue test is really accurate ! Brilliant news xxx

I'd say the clear blue digital is accurate. When I tested with a normal clear blue, the line was faint then I tested with a digital and it said 1-2 weeks and few days after it said 2-3 which was about right. I reckon your pregnant! Fingers crossed for you x

Hi Soconfused07. Ask for a confirmation with a blood test to check your hCG level. If all is well, they will repeat it in another 2 days, when it should have at least doubled. Good luck! Diane

The clinic said to take another test and ring them back with the results on Monday but in the meantime continue with the pessarys, she said the hospital tests aren't the most expensive and she would go with the clearblue one with the weeks being about right. She finished off with a congratulations. I thought it was quite strange for her to say about the tests not being the most expensive though as a hospital you would think they would be the most reliable! xxx

Hi I would agree with Diane. I had a positive clear blue test stating 1-2 weeks. Then a negative cheaper HPT the same day. Got my blood test results and positive but low reading. Went back for blood test 3 days later and the blood test results showed my levels dropping so pregnancy had ended but still got a positive clear blue that day. I was gutted. So do another test tomorrow then another in a few days and hopefully your clear blue should start showing 2-3 weeks pregnant which means levels going up. But the fact you got a negative then positive suggest they are rising anyway so looks good. So good luck.
