2 failed FETs - any advice 🤞🏻

Hi all, I am currently 6dp5dt and tested negative this morning so I'm aware it's looking likely to be a failed transfer again, this was our second and we have never seen a positive pregnancy test. Last attempt we used a trigger shot and progesterone this time only progesterone as it appeared I had ovulated myself (this was only through my use of OPKs and I ovulated early on day 9) my lining on day 9 was 8.6mm. I was not given a measurement for my lining on transfer day but the lining was trilaminar and the clinicians said all looked well. We have 2 embryos left in the freezer (not PGT tested) and just looking for advice on what we could do for next steps? Or if anyone has been in this situation before and saw success? Thanks so much x

Day 6 is definitely too soon to have a definitive answer. Keep up your meds and test again in a few days. 🤍 You're not out yet. You can worry about next steps once you have a definitive answer. X

Hi, I had 4 failed transfers. The last 2 of those being ‘outstanding’ 10/10 embryos from donor eggs and my lining and everything always looked good so it was confusing and frustrating. I had one embryo left so I paused and did the EMA, Alice and ERA biopsy. It found I had no good bacteria and needed lots of probiotics to build that up. But most crucially it found that the timing of my transfers had been all wrong and that my lining was not ready and ‘receptive’ on the standard day 6 of progesterone and I needed an extra 30 hours on progesterone before transfer. So with this my 5th transfer worked and I now have a 4 month old! It found the answers for me. Clinics go with average timing but not everyone is average! Some people need less time and some people need more. I wish I had known and done it right and the start.

Disclaimer though: I have seen people say it didn’t work for them and my consultant did warm me that there isn’t enough research for it to be recommended. All I know is it worked for me. Good luck x
