1st pregnancy became first lost

Hi,

Having a really difficult day today. The strength of my positive test on official test day was a little fainter than hoped so my clinic asked me to check my HCG. First repeat bloods were reassuring but got the very sad news today that my second lot of results showed my HCG had plummeted from nearly 400 to 60 and did a repeat HPT this evening which was negative. It was my first positive pregnancy test after 8 years of starting down this journey and was our first DE cycle with a great embryo.

We do have 2 blastocysts frozen one good one average which we have never had before so trying to still have some hope but just trying to deal with the tidal wave of emotions at having a miscarriage at 6 weeks after finally thinking our luck had changed. It has been harder by the fact a close friend gave birth recently and just sent me her initial baby pics. Please send some encouragement and some hope my way. Wishing you the best on your journey wherever you are. X

I'm so sorry that you are going through this. It's heartbreaking because I think as women we bond right away and have all this hope when we find out we are pregnant. I also had an early loss with my first FET transfer but just because it happened earlier it didn't make it any less painful. Sending you strength and positive thoughts your way. I hope you can take the time to take care of yourself, and that you can surround yourself with people who love you and support you.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. It's great that you have frozen embryos, which can be a source of hope for the future. Allow yourself to grieve and take care of yourself during this time. Sending lots of strength and support. xxx

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. It’s absolutely heartbreaking. Having gone through so much to get to this point and then suffer a loss is absolutely soul destroying.

Allow yourself all the time and space to grieve. And know that you are an absolute trouper for everything you have been through.

I’m wishing you all the very best in your next steps. Sending love and hope your way 🙏✨
