back on the rollercoaster!

We were blessed with a beautiful baby girl in April 2023 after a very difficult journey.

Now we’ve decided to go for a sibling for her (we have 4 embryos left in the freezer). Experiencing mixed emotions… the thought of all the medications (3 daily injections + the usual tablets and pessaries) fills me with absolute dread but I’m also full of hope and excitement! Roll on next period so we can get going!

There’s not really a point to this post… just wanted to say hello as it’s been a while and I remember this group being such a support to me before! 👋🏼

Good luck!! I'm currently pregnant with my second ivf miracle after starting again at the beginning of 2024 after having our first miracle girl in 2021 and I remember this feeling well!

Not going to lie I found the emotions much harder to handle this time round but I got all the support in place beforehand. I started counselling and had regular accupuncture sessions before and during.

You have done it before you can do it again! 💪🏼

Thank you! It’s funny you say that, I feel a lot less pressure this time around but the emotions are running high. The thought of overloading myself with all the hormones and doing several injections a day is filling me with fear but like you say, we’ve done it before!! Times like these you realise how strong you actually are. Congrats on your little family! How long do you have left? X

good luck!! 🤗💜 I’m currently pregnant with my second IVF baby after starting again the same year I had my son in 2021 … it’s been a longer, harder road the second time around but very worth it xx
