Short cycle IVF

Hello all

I have short cycles 23-24 days these days and I ovulate CD10, does this mean I will have shorter stimulation? For example 10 days instead of 12 days stimulation ? Does this mean my egg collection will happen earlier than someone who is have a longer cycle ?

Sorry if the questions sound silly as this is my first time and I’m trying to get my head around it.

I have cycles similar to yours but I had stims for 12 days. They followed by follicle sizes and then planned the trigger after 12 days stims if I remember right.

I’m hoping I will need 12 so it won’t clash with weekend and my own consultant will come back from annual leave 🙏

hi there ! The protocol will normally include the ovulation suppression injections. They will trigger you in time for the egg collection when they think your follicles are good and ready.

Don’t worry about your natural cycle timing. In my case that was 14 days although my natural cycle is also short with earlier ovulation.
