I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant after our 2nd transfer. Every night since BFP I’ve had cramping that woke me up. and I’ve felt bloated and breathless. This week so far there has been no noticeable symptoms. I can’t help but worry something is wrong. Has anyone experienced something similar and had a good outcome?
I’m on 20mg prednisolone per day and I’ve read it can mask symptoms so I’m not sure if this is what’s happening.

With me, symptoms came and went and the best advice I got was that unless you are bleeding out heavy, assume all is well and honestly that’s what got me through. I hope that this may help you too xx
I am 5 weeks tomorrow and also woken very anxious today due to very minimal / no symptoms. I’m on loadsss of meds including steroids so hoping the same as you! Trying to relax is hard 😂
Maybe we should be grateful that we have no symptoms. The wait for an ultrasound is by far worse than the two week wait. Congratulations and good luck x
When is your scan? Mine will be week of the 6th Jan but not confirmed. I am getting hcg / progesterone blood tests every few days at my clinic so I’m very lucky but I’m still so anxious, I’m back there tomorrow so hopefully that makes me feel better x
Hi Thierry101 Kerry1487 how are you both holding up? I am reaching out as I've started my prednisolone 5mg tablet today (1st one) before my 2nd FET (prev 2 transfers failed) I'm super scared. I don't know why I feel terrified all over again. How did you both ease your mind when first starting the steroids and whilst you have been on them has your health been okay?x
Hi, I’ve not experienced any negatives. I was took 20mg from morning of transfer (4 x 5mg tablets in the morning after breakfast). I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant on my 1st FET. Can’t say if the steroids helped but I don’t think they’ve done any harm x
thank you. Not yet. I have my 7 week scan on Wednesday so I’ll find out what happens. I think my consultant mentioned I could be on them for the full pregnancy x
