hello ladies! I’m just looking for any ladies who are having an embryo transfer mid January, just so I can get some hope and support. I’m on medicated FET, where I’m taking progynova twice a day and will be having scan early January to see if the uterus lining is ready for transfer! Soo soo nervous!

Any mid January Frozen Embryo Transfer ladies!?
hello, yes me! Medicated protocole as well, I am now waiting for my period to start œstrogènes for lining prep and will then do the transfer, I think mid Jan if everything is as usual
Such exciting yet nervous times!! All the baby dust to you! ♥️
Thank you so sweet! That would be a fourth for me, trying for a girl this time
Hi Nisak, yes I am in same boat, awaiting scan and then on progynova, do you need to have the injection soon too? dreading that. hope everything goes ok for you xx
i am! I just had my baseline scan and waiting for my progynova to arrive. Really nervous too!! If you need to chat let me know x
Me! I'll be transferring on 9th of January eek. First transfer failed with pgs 5aa embryos so, hopefully we will have better luck this time 🤞.
I think I am aswell. Will have to see at my scan next week. I've had two failed transfers. I know everyone is different but for those of you who have had positives what has you protocol been like? And what additional tests did you do. Baby dust to all
No success yet but this time we are doing a kitchen sink protocol with aspirin, clexane and steroids. Also using Probiotics and Nexium to ensure my ibs is controlled and I'm flowing with good bacteria. Trying acupuncture this time too, so guess we will know soon if all this makes a difference 🫠.
Oh I also suffer from IBS I'm taking zita west probiotics. Can I ask which ones you are taking? I'm also adding aspirin and steroid low dose though. The aspirin is over the counter myself and I'm not really getting any help on when to start it because I am also going to be on tinzaparin which is a blood thinning injection. So I'm hoping to start myself during my luteal phase of the cycle
Im in the UK so it may be different brands for you, if you are elsewhere. I am taking Nexium for ibs but I think the generic name is Esomeprazole. For good vaginal bacteria I'm taking Optibac. I'm on very low dose steroids too starting CD1, but the aspirin I have been on since day 1 this cycle as this time I am down regulating with bcp and a Lupron depot shot on day 21 of this cycle, which I also didn't do before X
Ahh esomeprazole is that because you are having the aspirin and steroids? To help prevent any further gastrointestinal issues? Which optibac are you taking? Is it the sachets in a greeny white box? I'm from the UK too. I'm really scared trying the steroids I won't lie.
The Nexium isn't related to the steroids per se. I have always had trouble with gas, cramps and reflux when I eat trigger foods and I read somewhere that all that gastric upheaval might not be the best environment to support implantation so, in for a penny in for a pound I guess. I am taking steroids to keep my immune system calm so why not take meds which will keep my gastric system calm too 😅. The aspirin I have been asked to do with BCP, not sure why though. I did steriods last time too but only for 4 days before transfer. I occasionally suffer from inflammation and sometimes have psoriasis flare ups which I did after the failed fet, we suspected that maybe I had some sort of immune response which might not have favoured implantation so this time I'm doing steriods from cycle day 1 till at least bfp and maybe a few weeks after that. The worst side effect I had was being out of breathe/light headed but who knows, now I'll be on it for much longer so we shall see 👀.
That's me! The gas and cramps. And I mean terrible terrible gas and upset tummy dependent on what I've eaten but I have tried to cut down on quite a bit but still somehow il have something that just give me terrible bloat gas and sharp abdominal pains. Thank you for that I will try nexium for my general issues too. I have psoriasis and patella arthritis and after my FET and I mean the next day I broke out in cold sores which made me believe something wasn't right because I only ever get them when I have a flu and am very unwell. Oh god how did you fare with that? Did your clinic tell you to still continue it even with those symptoms? I had horrible side effects when I was on norethisterone on my fresh cycle and then the prostap for my FET. I don't think I fare well with down regulation meds 🤔 so I think we are skipping that bit this time (thank goodness)
My dodgy tummy is similar to yours. I am also going to try low gluten and sugar from transfer week till end of Jan to try keep things stable as heard that can help but who knows. My psoriasis flare up appeared around when I started getting bfn following transfer so it would have been too late do anything by then, so this time going to wait till least beta to stop steriods. Norethisterone is the absolute worst! The bloating and mood Swings were unreal. I have fared sooo much better this time on the combined yasmin pill, progesterone is the worst. I did my Lupron shot yesterday which I was worried about, but so far all I have is a the occasional headache. I'm glad and hope it stays that way as read for some people the side effects can be horrendous. Just waiting for my period to start now then I can start on progynova tablets 🙏
Oh I feel a bit stressed out now because I'm starting steroids prednisolone I think it was 7 days before transfer I mean would that be too late then 😭😩 I'm so emotional since I had my endometrial scan on Wednesday. I don't know what has got into me. I found it so so painful. Everyone else's comment on it was not too painful and that is why I was so relaxed going in 🤦♀️ I just feel like I'm starting certain meds so late on the cycle that will it even help. I'm referring to the aspirin and prednisolone. I'm waiting for my period next week then I need to call clinic for baseline scan. Trust us to go through this around the busiest time of year
Oh OK, is there any reason why you can't start Aspirin on cycle day 1? Least worst case if they say no to Prednisolone till later in the cycle, aspirin is over the counter and apparently helps blood flow and is a low level anti-inflammatory. I'm hoping for my period Monday and in some ways I'm glad the first few weeks of oestrogen is over the Xmas break as last time it gave me complete brain fog and tiredness which isn't great for work meetings... it did seem to settle after a few weeks which is ideal as hopefully I'll be over the rough patch by the time I go back to work in Jan. Do you mean an endometrial scan or scratch? If scratch can I ask why it was recommend?
Sorry to jump in here! Aspirin can affect implantation which is why some clinics for it to be started only after a bfp. I have aps myself and always had it included in my cycles along with clexane but the new consultant says its a big no no. Though my BFp is sleeping upstairs and I had it throughout my pregnancy with him!
I think each doctor and clinic is different and someone with more medical background than me should be confirming this!
Best to stick to what they tell you or what feels right for you.
The prednisone is usually taken from ovulation for anyone trying naturally who has aps etc so it would be normal and OK to take this 7 days before if doing a FET.
I had it from transfer throughout my tww and it worked well along with tacrolimus! Good luck everyone!
Mercury363 , agree every clinic is different so guess we have to put our trust in them that they are making the right protocol call for our situation. In my case they asked me to take aspirin from this preceeding cycle with bcp, continuing into the transfer cycle. Now slightly worried re whether it can impact implantation, don't know what to think anymore 😅. Ah well, just going to hope for the best. Sherri786 , I struggled the most with progynova and prednisone but side effects seemed to get better over time once my body got used to it.
Mercury363 I wasn't really offered it by my clinic but I told them I would be getting it over the counter and they said best to take in luteal phase as I am already on tinzaparin and these are blood thinners injections. Yes i eill be having a FET maybe thats why steroids are 7 days prior to transfer. Although i am on very loe dose of 10mg. Can I ask what sort if any side effects you experienced during the steroids and aspirin?x Mummydreams25 the scratch again I asked for as add on becauze of the two failed implantation and I wanted to try something different. Which medication is it that affects you the most? I'm also hoping for this reason that they let me start my meds next week but it all depends on the scan 😩
I had no massive side effects but a little hungrier the prednisone though i was pregnant so can't be sure it was the meds. With aspirin I tend to bruise quite easily but I also had clexane so this would cause that too. I'm usually not too bad for side effects thankfully and it takes a lot of meds to effect my body in any easy!
