Trying to be hopeful will have something to transfer tomorrow. I know it’s hardly my first time but wondered if people have tips on how to stay optimistic in 2WW when they’ve only ever ended in BFNs or early losses?
Also I’ve generally taken view of just getting back to normal after the transfer but is there any merit in chilling out a bit for a day or so? Do people have a bit of a post transfer routine?
Hope everyone has a restful weekend. Thanks for any insights xx

Hi lovely hope all goes well with your transfer mine is in 2 weeks I normally chill out for 2 days after transfer eat sleep and chill my clinics in Cyprus so just room service first 2 days loads of chicken veg boiled eggs in the morning I start having half a glass of beetroot juice in the morning day before transfer then every day till test day I drink warm water with lemon instead of my morning coffee Brazil and walnuts about 5 of each a day and loads of pomegranate juice bottled water room temp for transfer I wear 2 pairs of socks to keep my feet warm while I’m waiting for transfer in a private room I walk about one side of the room to the other to get my blood flowing plus it helps if you need a pee and feel like your going to burst lol once transfer is done I eat chicken in the car steroids make me so hungry and go to sleep 40 min drive to hotel then get in put my slipper boots on over my 2 pairs of socks and sleep again on day 3 I go for short walks and out in the car put the music channel on in the room and try and stay upbeat the best I can I stay of google I don’t want to read anything depressing I don’t test till test day like to stay in my bubble till then and I don’t symptom check because I don’t think there’s any point as my last bfp with twins the only symptom I had was getting up to pee in the night but I was drinking that much I would of been more shocked if I didn’t that’s my full plan of action girl sorry for the long post I wish you all the luck in the world with your transfer just try and take it easy and be good to yourself xxxx
Thanks so much and for sharing all this!! I am definitely very tired and very hungry between all the meds, pred is the worse 😂. So I think a couple of chill days will be good. Best of luck with your transfer in 2 weeks ❤️xx
sending lots of luck for tomorrow! My BFP was 7 years ago now, I went with keeping feet warm and taking it relatively easy for first couple of days but not bed rest. Having said that, I remember visiting my friend the afternoon of transfer and her little boy ran straight up to be lifted. I also did the old wives tale of McDonald’s fries 🤣 otherwise I kept generally occupied and remember being shattered!
I would take the day after to relax and treat yourself. I think it’s a lot to mentally deal with and then return to work. Hope all goes smoothly and that this is your time 🩷🩵 xx
