Manchester clinics

Hi, we are trying to decide whether to go with Create or Manchester Fertility for ivf (this will be our first attempt). The main difference seems to be that Create tend to recommend mild IVF. I'm 31 with an AMH of 6 so keen to start the process asap. Could anyone share experiences or advice relating to either of these clinics or the mild/normal IVF approach? I know it's difficult to compare as everyone's experiences are different but any advice on things to consider and the factors that influenced your decision if you were looking at these clinics too would be really helpful! Thanks

hi, I used Create and have low AMH, I did use a clinic close to home for one cycle and did not get anywhere near as good a results. The big downside to create I found, is just their general customer service, communication etc is awful, however I kept going back because they got me pregnant three times (unfortunately two ended in losses, third one is currently keeping me awake at night haha). When I looked into using Care fertility, they wanted to use the normal/long protocol and when talked through it, it felt very hormone heavy and quite unnatural. Having been trying for 6 years and doing lots of research into naturally improving fertility, it did seem sometimes IVF does worse than good. Unfortunately for me, we had a male factor problem and IVF/ICSI was the only way to overcome it. But the mild approach Create use did feel less invasive etc. hope that helps

Hi, we’ve been with Create as it was recommended to us through someone who had had 10+ failed attempts at another clinic (not in Manchester) and this one worked for them. I also liked the idea of mild and drugs not being as harsh on the body. No known issues with either of us as we conceived 6yrs ago first time but this time around after 2 yrs nothing. No major issues with clinic, just found getting in touch with them near impossible as there’s no reception telephone no, you have to ring a call center basically and they send msg in system to relevant person in clinic. But was issue when it wasn’t open on a Sunday but there is an emergency mobile no you can ring i ended up using. I ended up getting the person mobile of my health care assistant who looked after me which worked well but not sure if this is common or not. 2nd cycle/transfer we’re currently 16wks pregnant. So as it worked for us i would recommend it :-) Best of luck with your journey!
