unfortunately I am still in this group. I have done 4 icsi cycles, 3 using my partner sperm and one with a donor. The donor one was the worst as I achoeve 30% fertilisation rate and no quality embryo at day 3. I had 3 transfers at day 3 do it is hard to say but on other cyvlrs there was an arrest on day 3. Any recommendation/ advice?

unfortunately, I am still in this group not for good reasons. I have done 4 icsi cycles, 3 using my partner sperm ( short protocol)and one with a donor (the medication was similar but they gave me an injection on the previous cycle to reset my system so I won’t ovulated)

The donor one was the worst cycle. I got 9 mature eggs, but I achieved 30% fertilisation rate and, no high quality embryo at day 3.

In total, I had 2 embryo transfers at day 3 (so I don’t know if that embryos would have reached blastocyst, but they had done the divisions wrongly, or were just with 5 cells). But other cucles no embryo has reached blastocyst.

Any recommendation/ advice?

Hello. We were always told the egg keeps it going till day 3 and then the sperm starts to do its part so if the quality is not good at day 3 it could potentially be egg issues. That’s what we had xxx

This is what I thought. I asked my consultant about this and she said it's nearly always the egg that's the problem. Even if it's after day 3 that it arrests. I had read in the past that after day 3 it could be the sperm that's the problem so was baffled xx
