Hi lovely, I lost 2.5 stone before I got my referral, I did it using very low carb and high fat diet called the Ketogenic diet. Lost the weight over about 3/4 months. Best of luck to you however you go about losing the weight. It should really help your IVF success x

I made a point of eating healthier and exercising. I did give up caffeine before ivf as I read that it can help success rates, I also tried to increase my protein and reduce my carbs (as a veggie some days were definitely more successful than others 😂). Best of luck to you x

Hi lovely. I got recommended this book before we started IVF and it was a great help:

Zita Wests Guide to Fertility & Conception.

There's advice in there about nutrition, mindset etc. It really helped me prepare x x x

Hi there, before my 3rd cycle I managed to lose a stone although I wasnt over weight, I was my biggest I've ever been and didn't feel comfortable. I did it by cutting out processed foods and by eating healthier options. I also walked for about an hour a day, which really helped as I would walk in nice places like woods which also helped with clearing my mind and helping me mentally. Good luck. Setting yourself mini goals to achieve your overall goal will help too xx
