Had egg collection which had only 3 eggs, only 1 has fertilised. Is there anyone that's had that 1 be successful?
was surprised at how low the eggs collected were given im 36 and did everything I could to improve it, has anyone had a failed cycle then stopped taking Ubiquinol and had any improvement?
Thanks

I had 10 eggs and only one make it when I was 35. It wasn’t looking good as it was slow developing. They transferred day 5 but weren’t hopeful as they couldn’t even grade it. But he did make it and is my healthy little boy! It sounds cliche but every cycle is different. I’ve had quite different numbers each of my 5 egg collections. Good luck, I know it’s so heart wrenching.
I took dhea the successful cycle and other ones since. For that cycle the clinic didn’t change anything which was actually a little frustrating. I kinda felt that how can we expect different results with the same protocol. Since then and trying for a sibling I’ve discovered mild hypothyroidism so taking meds for that and increasing my progesterone dosage. Uk clinic hesitant to try different things so I’ve just gone abroad and had a completely different protocol and taking probiotics after doing a microbiome test. In the 2ww and hoping for the best. Egg collection and number of embryos was better than in the uk despite being 37 now
Thats good that they are trying different things at new clinic abroad, ive heard good things and success rates of ones abroad. ill keep everything crossed for you that it works out. i did look ar DHEA and also looked at micro biome tests my clinic, dont get my wrong they are great but dont think theres much aftercare or looking into things also im conserving all my energy in not loosing my sh*t with them that the embryologist had heavy perfume on at egg collection the other day..mind blown x
I believe that your AMH is low, but dont stress over the number as long as it turn to be good quality. I did first 2 IVF rounds and collected 8 and second round 18. But ended up with one embryo each cycle.
Try doing PRP for your next ivf cycle if your planning to as I saw some reviews that it increased the number of collected eggs and quality by %70.
I recently did my first ivf cycle and we got 6 eggs, and one embryo. I am currently 5+3 weeks pregnant and all is going well so far! Please try not to be disappointed, it only takes one embryo! Fingers crossed for you x x
My lining was good, it wasn’t something that was overly discussed to be honest. I remember asking at transfer and the consultant saying it looked good. I think it’s just important it’s over a certain thickness xx
I had 9 eggs collected, 8 mature, 3 fertilised and I had a day 2 transfer, the other 2 didn’t make it to day 5 but I am currently 23 weeks pregnant with our lucky day 2 transfer ☺️
my first round was a short protocol where I got 3 eggs and only one fertilised. Unfortunately the one I had although great on day 3 was only a morula when transferred and did not take.
The second round I had a long protocol (down regulation) and 6 eggs were retrieved, 4 fertilised and 4 made it to blastocyst stage. This round my husband and I upped my coq10 and he eliminated caffeine/alcohol from his diet. We are now pregnant.
I too have low amh and was 34 when both procedures started. I wish you luck with the one you have got but if it doesn’t work then maybe a longer protocol may be better as it improves our results a lot. At the moment don’t lose hope as one is all you need. Sending luck xx
It only takes one though I completely understand why you would be anxious. I’m going in today with just the one follicle, as one of the clinicians said, the golden egg - I’m hoping so!
My friend’s little boy was from a cycle where they got just one egg, resulting in just one embryo. She has low ovarian reserve. She is on Instagram is you are, @the.infertile.midwife.
Also loads and loads of success stories on the low ovarian reserve groups on Facebook. Positive thoughts your way lovely x
yes I had the same, I had 3 eggs collected and 1 embryo at day 5. This little embryo is now my 2.5 year old little boy so for me these numbers were lucky and I hope the same for you. I had two other rounds with better numbers but all turned out BFN. Good luck 🍀🍀
