Private scans when doing IVF abroad

Hi,

I've recently starting looking into IVF abroad, can someone please advise how it works with getting a scans and bloods etc over here whilst doing stimulation?

Me too! No bloods though as belfast can take 10 days to come back. My clinic was happy to go with scans only. Good luck!

Hiya I used a IVF clinic in Greece and they recommended a clinic in London which was local to me for both bloods and scans. They did same day results and sent them across to both me and the clinic directly who then gave me instructions once the results were seen by my Dr. You're clinic might be able to recommend a place they use. Good luck with everything!

My clinic is in Spain. I used Window to the Womb for scans as they were the cheapest and local to me. Bloods I used my local IVF clinic as they offer private bloods. I did find arranging scans and bloods the only downside of using a clinic abroad, but I’d still do the same again.

It can be a bit daunting trying to organise these things but as others have said there's lots of places around. Just Google fertility scan and same day bloods near me. I'd recommend doing this now, getting the names of 2 or 3 places, their opening hours and how long results take as when you're doing your cycle your preferred place might have no availability and from experience it is then very stressful trying to find somewhere last minute. I'm in Cheshire and know a few places if you live near here x

Where do you live? Ultrasound direct and window to the womb are across the UK however in my experience you can’t book at short notice. Here in Essex there is Essex Ultrasound, and there are places in London I know of for bloods and scanning at short notice.

Ah ok, good to know. I'm in Oxfordshire and just starting to look into options
