1st egg collection 🫣

hello so I have my egg collection for my first IVF cycle on Monday…eek! I have PCOS so have a good number of follicles but scared about how many will make it to transfer!

Have you got any other tips? I'll be flying to Spain solo for mine. I love the country and speak the language but I know it's still going to feel a very lonely experience x

I hope it goes really well for you! Good luck 🤞🏻 Wear something loose and comfy, I find that you can feel a bit crampy after the collection. And definitely take the rest of the day off, the sedation usually knocks me out so I sleep for the afternoon. Also for me, doing relaxing activities e.g acupuncture, swimming etc in the days leading up to the collection helps me stay calm! x

hey lovely! I’m having my 3rd collection Monday ❤️ good luck 😊 for me it feels like it really goes quickly and once you know the outcome on how many were retrieved it’s just a waiting game.

Not related to this cycle but a friend of mine with PCOS after having gone through IVF unsuccessfully then had success after 6 months taking this supplement - fertilityfamily.co.uk/produ...

She started ovulating naturally for the first time in years. She had taken other MI supplements in the past which weren't effective but had a recommendation about this specific one.

Just something to put in the back of your mind!

Good luck on Monday!!! Don't stress about the numbers, this out of your control, so the only thing you can do is relax.

On my first collection I've got 8 and 2 arrive to blasto, on the first transfer I've got pregnant(but didn't end well). And on my third collection I've had 18 and after genetic test 3 blasto were frozen, 1 transfer and now I am pregnant.

You just never know when is finally going to be the one, but I hope is on your first transfer
