Round Sperm

hi ladies, I had my second egg collection yesterday - getting 17!

My husband had to give a second sample however as he had really high levels of ‘round sperm’ this can indicate an infection somewhere - but he’s not been ill for probably best part of a year + we didn’t have this issue on EC 1, in November.

the second sample was a bit better and okay to be used for icsi, but I’m panicking now waiting on results of fertilisation this morning.

Last time 100% of our mature eggs fertilised so our standards have been set unrealistically high I know.

Has anyone else had ‘round sperm?’ Thanks!

Glad second sample better and sending good luck wishes for this treatment cycle Might be an idea to discuss your concerns with your clinic as they know your history
