Negative test 10dp5dt

Hi Everyone, I did another test today - 10dp5dt. There is not even a faint line. My clinic has us booked in for a blood test in another 5days.

What do you think?

I feel like there would at least be a faint line - seems like everyone has gone some sign at 10dp5dt.....

I hope that all goes well for you 🤞🏻💖.... its so frustrating isnt it i cant imagine how you must be feeling ..... hoping that all goes well with the blood test .... i cant advise on the faint lines on the tests as ive never had a positive due to test myself on friday and i have zero hope not feeling positive at all ... Xx

in reply toRachael_

Thanks Rachael. Hope you are keeping strong!

I was not feeling positive and just wanted to test so that I don't get my hopes up - prefer to know sooner rather than later.

I made a list of things I want to do if it is negative and that helped ease the pain! Wine is first! ;)

Maybe there is still hope - but I think at 10 days there should be something showing.

Will be thinking of you Friday!

Thankyou thats so kind for you to say 💖i really do hope like cinderella5 has just said this is the same case for you ..... i hate seeing negative test posts , its so unfair i will be thinking about you ... and im a little like that i want to know but im also scared knowing whats coming if its negative .... this process can be so rewarding at times then so heartbreaking also ... ive got everything crossed for you 🤞🏻Xxx

Well - it is only my first cycle so, I cannot be too negative. But each cycle must be hard no matter how many I suppose.

Let's see! :) Still a tiny bit of hope (maybe)

Ive never had a positive test either....ever! I dont want to get your hopes up but I know 2 people that got a negative on day 10 and they both have little girls! I know we see most people with positives at this time but I really hope things can change for you!xx

in reply toCinderella5

I know - honestly I am an expert in negative pregnancy tests! :) Just once I would like to see a positive ;)

Suppose I won't be 100% sure until I do my bloods on day 15 Monday.

I am so impatient!

It so hard not to be impatient! I was like you and tested so I could at least see if I'd had a slight positive. Sadly Ive never seen that magic line!xx

in reply toCinderella5

Awwww hope we see one soon...... :)

Yes I prefer to be pre-warned before Monday. Otherwise will be too much of a blow all at once.

Let's see if I can wait another few days without testing!

Which test did you use-as from my recent experience some are more sensitive than others? I'd wait a couple more days if you can and test again x Best of luck

in reply toStepharni

Hi - I used a cheapy Sainsbury one. I actually forgot I had it! I was saving the first response once for Sunday 13th as that was the day the nurse said I can test myself. Thanks for you reply. I will hold it together for another few days.

Yeh going OK I think hun, thank you for asking. Xx

in reply toelle80

You had an early positive didn't you? From day 6! :) I was just remembering......

Let's see what tomorrow brings for me - or hopefully I can hold out until Friday! :)

Yeh but my clinic said that wasn't viable, nor would she accept my one at day 11, too early apparently. So there is obviously a good reason why they make people wait so long. There are people that don't get a positive until much later. Xx

in reply toelle80

Yes it is so confusing! Wish we all had the same test days :)

It is just dangerous having tests in the house lying around! I can't stop myself! ;)

Thanks for your kind responses!

Hi EB2001,

I've been reading your thread and I too have just buckled and have tested early with FRER. I'm currently 9DP5DT and its a definite BFN. Devestated!! I wondered how you got on after your BFN and if it by any chance or miracle turned into a BFP? I really hope it did for you.

I think i'm trying to come to terms with the fact that it has failed this time but am also looking for some hope. My OTD is 14DP5DT, so Monday, but so many people have early positives. I used a FRER and not even a faint line. Also any symptoms i had like sore boobs and cramping disappeared around D6P5DT, i'm clutching at straws.

Looking for some glimmer of hope that it can work out positively in these circumstances. :-( even though i think i'm probably out :-(.

xx

in reply toICSI2018

9dp5dt is still early for some people. At the time my clinic would not take the result at 10dp5dt and my OTD was at 14dp5dt.

We didn't get out BFP on OTD. But not sure if you have seen but the cycle directly after I got BFP naturally. Def the IVF kick started something.....we are 12 weeks now and crossing fingers.

I know the desperation you are feeling.

I am not sure of the reason for infertility in your case - but we were unexplained and didn't even consider that trying that cycle could result in a BFP.

Try to be patient until test day - it is not over until OTD. Everyone has stories where the line came faintly last minute.

Hey EB2001,

Thank you for responding, That's amazing news, congratulations. Will keep everything crossed for you.

Prior to IVF we were TTC for 2 years but my partner has low sperm count and the motility is not that great either, so not sure if natural is possible for us but i would love it to be.

I am hoping more than anything that its just too early. My OTD is Monday. Thank you and once again massive congrats

I am crossing my fingers for you.

We had a similar timescale pre IVF approx 2 years of trying.

Have you got any frozen embryos?

Thank you that's very kind.

Unfortunately no, We only made it to day 5 with one viable embryo, we had 4 good quality at day 3 but they weren't progressing, therefore we didn't have any to freeze, it would mean starting a whole new cycle.
