I heard this dilemma so much around metformin, whether or not to take it during pregnancy. Is someone has pcos and insulin resistance, will it be better to continue metformin after conceiving naturally? Does it have any side effects? No one gives a concrete answer to this.
Advices much appreciated

Have you discussed this with your Dr /clinic - might be an idea to do so . They know your history - blood result and should be able to advice you on your concerns
Hi! When I was looking into metformin I found on google that there were some studies suggesting women with PCOS had lower rates of miscarriage whilst still on metformin during the first trimester (have a google) which made me think it would be helpful to continue... Def one to check with your Dr as they will know what's best for you! x
It’s worth asking your dr, I take a high dose of Metformin for PCOS and I have been advised that if/when I conceive I will continue with the Metformin. Hope that helps! X
