I was having a natural FET this month. Everything was going ahead on CD11, lining and everything was perfect. Then CD16 I called to ask how late I could ovulate to still have the cycle, they got me in for a scan. They said that the follicle had shrunk and my lining had gone down slightly so they cancelled the cycle.
But now on CD19 I’m positive on all the ovulation tests. They said the transfer still can’t go ahead but I don’t understand why.. has this happened to anyone? I don’t get why the transfer is cancelled when I am definitely ovulating and I will be taking progesterone anyway. I feel gutted and this cancelled cycle is costing us £600.

Hi 👋. Afraid I don't have an answer (although my guess below) but I would definitely question your clinic as to why...they are in the best position to advise (and presume you’ve paid them good money to do so!).
As far as I know your LH can rise showing a positive on tests but this doesn't guarantee ovulation. Scans are the best indicator of this, so perhaps the shrinking of the follicle was enough to make your clinic think it was best to cancel - I'm no expert though!
Hi Geebees. If your cycle is cancelled before egg collection, then usually you are eligible for another cycle. Did you ovulate, causing the follicle to shrink? I’m a bit confused too. Hope you get some questions answered satisfactorily. Diane
