Cycle cancelled due to Corona

Feeling very down today after being told yesterday our first cycle has been cancelled due to Corona. Was due to go in on Tuesday to begin short protocol, was so exited to finally get to this stage after so long waiting. I know it can't be helped with everything that's going on but I just feel quite miserable about it especially as there is no idea when we might be able to start but realistically months away. The lovely lady on the phone was unclear about how they would rebook people in as its so many so just advised to ring up constantly and see so there is not going to be a clear order of 'waiting list'. I know I'm being selfish as it's more important for the nurses and doctors to look after people who are ill with the virus but it's just hard as you look at all the issues to might face with this journey and did not imagine this happening. Hopefully we will still be able to start this year sending lots of love to everyone and stay safe. 💜

Hello sorry to hear that what clinic are you with ? I had a cancelled cycle due to thin lining so my period is due any day now and I will be so gutted if my hospital tell me the same news ! As I have waited so long and the thing is your right it could be months years or anything till we get appointed again no one knows 😓when I called my hospital they said everything is running as normal just now I am in Glasgow I hope your ok I know what it feels to have it postponed it’s the worse feeling ever !! X

Just wanted to reply to say I’m so sorry. I can only imagine how u must feel. Although u are right, doctors and medicine are in crisis, I totally understand and can imagine how the disappointment would feel. Try, if you can to be kind to yourself xx

So sorry to hear💛, think this is a fear we all have at the moment! Getting so close and unfortunately coronavirus now affecting the whole world. Could I ask where about your clinic is .. you will get there in the end xx

Same here I got the call that it's cancelled for now. I just feel like crying.

Hopefully Summer is when things might resume.
