Spotting before transfer

Hi ladies

I hope you're all OK.

My frozen embryo transfer is booked for Tuesday. This morning, I had the slightest bit of spotting. I have vaginal soreness too. I think it may because of the pessaries but wondered if anyone had had similar? I've never had my period start before transfer or before test date so I'm hoping it's not a period on the way. I have no cramps or anything.

I will contact my clinic tomorrow when they re-open but seeking some reassurance today.

Hey, I'm not sure if I can be much help but can you ask your clinic to scan you tomorrow to see where the spotting is coming from - before they thaw your embryo? Also for the pessaries are you using cyclogest? This can be used rectally so you could try this instead of vaginally in case it's irritation. If you're using utrogeston I think you can only use them vaginally though X

Thanks so much Skittles11. I will ask my clinic tomorrow as I'm due to go in anyway for a progesterone blood test. I'm using cyclogest. Thanks again xxx
