Excessive thirst!

Hi,

I’m 8dpt (will only be testing on OTD which is Sat 1st). Yesterday and today I seem to be constantly thirsty. I’m well ahead of the rate of drinking 2l a day. I’m also having to wee pretty frequently which is no surprise considering the amount I’m drinking!

I just wanted to ask if anyone else had this during their TWW to see if it’s considered a normal symptom or if I need to reach out to the nurses at the clinic for guidance.

hey I didn’t have this with any of mine. I doubt it’s anything to worry about though, being hydrated it a good thing. All the best x

I found I was craving a drink but it wasn’t quenched with water only orange juice, I must have needed extra vitimins maybe try drinking that instead of the water? I doubt it will be anything to worry about could be all the hormones (whether prescribed or from and implanting pregnancy) or could be totally unrelated xx

this was my main symptom of being pregnant on my successful round that I didn’t have with any of my failed transfers.

That said it is different for everyone and so don’t want to get your hopes up as progesterone can cause loads of symptoms.

That was my one and only symptom for my little embryo that stuck around!!!! It was the weirdest symptom ever!!!! Good luck 🤞 💕

I was thirstier during my 2WW and got a BFP 🙏 Hoping it’s a positive sign for you.

I’m now in another 2ww, just 3dp5dt, and I have dry lips/mouth! It’s just so hard not to symptom spot, isn’t it! I’m driving myself nuts already. X

Thanks everyone, that’s reassuring! I’m doing my best not to read into any symptom, I didn’t have this on our failed fresh transfer in March but only got to wait until Saturday for test day now 🤞

We got our BFP this morning! Clearly being thirsty was a good sign for me 😆
