I am due to start long protocol in exactly a week, with a prostrap injection. My husband has tested positive for Covid today and although I am testing negative I think I’m bound to get it. Our clinic will delay by 7-10 weeks depending if we both test positive for Covid. I’m devastated as we are only funded for 6 months and this will eat into such a big chunk of time, plus we already a lost a month at the beginning of our referral due to a bereavement. Has anyone successfully extended their NHS funding in these circumstances?

Hi. I am sorry to know you are going through a difficult situation. No experience as such, but you must apply/request/fight! for extending the time of funding. Getting I'll is out of anyone's control and if it prolongs the time window , it should be adjusted for. Best of luck 🤞
You can apply for an extension for the funding. Good luck. Hope you and your husband feel better soon. x
