Endometrial lining

Hi all,

I'm due to have my fresh embryo transfer on Tuesday but haven't been told I'll be having my lining checked prior to this, I didn't have this done before my first fresh embryo transfer either and it failed to implant. When do you all get yours checked?

The last check I had was Monday 1st April.

Thanks x

They just checked mine during the follicle scan & never mentioned it again.

I've just been informed they checked it at egg collection, I wish they would've told me this 🤦‍♀️

First time (transfer 7) and they never checked mine at all! I had to ask at contractions scan before transfer what it was! After no previous issues they just seemed to trust my body to do its thing!

I think they usually check it during follicle scans and they should check it again on the day of transfer..... I've always been told how thick it is before they pop the embryo back in.

Lining is checked prior to egg collection and then not again for me too! Most of my fresh transfers have implanted (although had miscarriages etc) so no lining issues. I’m sure they would also have seen it during egg collection while I was sedated. If they were happy with your lining prior to egg collection (and you haven’t had any period since) it should be absolutely fine xx

Thanks Twiglet. I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriages, the same thing happened to me with my frozen transfer - it's heartbreaking.
