surgical sperm collection anyone?

after changing clinics, the doctor asked my husband to do a sperm DNA fragmentation test (we’ve had 4 miscarriages).

The results came back at 31% which she considers quite high so she’s recommending that for our next IVF transfer the sperm be collected through a minor operation.

Has anyone’s partner gone through this? And if so, could you kindly share your experience?

Many thanks,

A

unfortunately it’s not my decision to make. My husband is very reluctant but I think (hope) he will go ahead. How did yours react?
