hello everyone,

has anyone here had a particularly nice experience having laparoscopy for endo excision? Also, prior to surgery, did your specialist diagnose using ultrasound or MRI?

Hi finup0321, I had laparoscopic surgery last summer privately with Mr Haider Jan at Ashtead Hospital in Surrey. He is I think the best person you can go to. He’s one of the leading laparoscopic surgeons in the U.K. and he teaches and lectures other surgeons in this field. I had 9 fibroids and some endometriosis removed via keyhole and another laparoscopic surgeon in Bristol had insisted it wasn’t possible via keyhole. I was pretty much recovered and driving again in 2 weeks. My BUPA PMI plan covered the cost of the surgery. I genuinely couldn’t recommend Mr Jan enough. Best of luck.
