Importing Embryos UK Advice

Hi All!

So after two failed egg retrievals (first cycle I only got one egg which didn’t fertilise and second cycle was cancelled) my husband and I have decided to try donor eggs. The outcome was expected since the Dr said am likely going through perimenopause (probably caused by my autoimmune disease which resulted in some chemo treatment at the age of 24).

My husband and I are ethnically Asian and we are unable to find Asian donors in the U.K. so we are looking abroad. The US seem to have the most options for donors so the question is, has anyone successfully imported eggs or embryos to the U.K. from the US? If so, appreciate if you can DM me the clinic that was used. Treatment in the US is a lot more expensive so I would prefer not to keep travelling to the US for a transfer if it doesn’t work the first few times!

Appreciate any advice on this and thank you taking the time to read this 😊
