FET- no symptoms

hi all I’m 4days post 5day embryo transfer not feeling any symptoms other than very emotional!

Starting to think it hasn’t worked any positive stories that had minimal symptoms and still got BFP? I feel like I had more symptoms pre transfer from all the meds.

So hard isn’t it! I’m trying to hold out to test

Do not test. Too soon. Go do some jobs. My project involves saving lives… so going to get my dress for tonight which might hide my progesterone belly and then use the next 8 days to ensure some lives are truly saved. Come on get going. No testing you are still in it until test day.

Yes distraction is the key at the minute! Thank you for your positivity!!

Sorry you’re having an emotional time. I think that’s a standard reaction and to be expected. Lots of people have no symptoms at all and get their BFP. Some have double success with both being times being different. So compare expecting the worse only to be surprised again. You’re definitely not out. Iv got a TWW thread open and not many symtoms between those of us who have shared. All currently in the TWW and testing 6th -12th. Have faith and sending luck and positivity your way x ✨

Also to note I transferred 27th and of the few symptoms I do have. All are mild and are also symptoms of the medications so not necessarily a clear indication of success or failure x

thanks for replying! I think ur mind just plays awful tricks over analysing symptoms and no Symptoms! I keep telling myself think positive it is so tough! Wishing you all the luck too 💫

Thank you 🙏🏽

I have literally filled every day as much as possible. Been going to bed early like a kid. As the quicker I go to sleep. The quicker I wake up one day closer to knowing. Sending lots of baby dust. Feel free to pop onto my post if you wish. There’s around 10-12 of us all awaiting test date.

If I don’t speak to you before. All the best x ✨🤞🏽⭐️

On my last FET I had zero symptoms and although I tested at 4dp5dt and was negative, I got my BFP on 5dp5dt - I would not have known I was pregnant until I started to show at five months. DS born Feb 23.Today I am 5dp5dt and I have zero symptoms but am testing negative. It's still far too early to test but because my chemical in 22 and my last successful one showed up so early I am doubting myself for any bfp.

Please stay confident, symptoms mean nothing and even those with the 'best' of them can still be bfn on otd. Each of us is individual and no pregnancy is the same. Fingers crossed for you lovely x

thank you so much for you positivity! I wish you all the luck in your journey 💫 it’s just torture I always assumed I would have some sort of symptoms! Have everything crossed for us both x

I’m also 4dpt with zero symptoms. Not even any from the meds 😂. Last time after my fresh transfer I had intense (9/10 pain) cramping on day 3 and on day 5 I spotted and on day 6 I spotted again. I knew it hadn’t worked and so I wasn’t shocked by my BFN. So I’m hoping no symptoms is a symptom for me 😂😂. I don’t feel in the least bit pregnant but I’m keeping the faith. X

Of89 profile image
Of89 in reply toHere4ivfinfo

Also keeping the faith for us both let’s hope no symptoms is a good thing!! I’m over analysing everything at the minute and trying my best to hold out to test day xx

When is your test day meant to be? Mine isn’t until a week on Tues. I’m testing on Thursday though 😬. I have been reading of women on another thread having lots of cramps and migraines. I feel physically so so normal!

I’m going to test on Friday! This week feels like the longest week already hope your doing ok! Xx

I did a an early detection test earlier like a total idiot. It was negative obviously 🙄. Although I do think it’s going to remain that way. I now have the worlds sorest bum from the cyclogest (tmi I know!!). It just keeps stinging insanely badly to the point where I want to cry. I need this to stop asap 😣. How are you aside from time passing slower than ever! X

Of89 profile image
Of89 in reply toHere4ivfinfo

Not an idiot! it’s so hard not to test early but I’m sure it is most accurate on otd!

I’m also on cyclogest they are not the nicest hope it has eased a bit for you today, I’m doing ok patiently waiting how ru feeling today x

Hi, all the symptoms I've had during the 2WW were always from the medication. They were the same for BFN and BFP. The real pregnancy symptoms didn't start until 7 weeks and lasted till 2nd trimester. Wishing you luck 🤞🏼.

Of89 profile image
Of89 in reply toSaskia9

Thank you I really hope I am the same! Xx

I’m glad you said this. Thank you xxxxx

hey, so apart from sore breasts but I thought that was the progesterone because they had been sore on medication before the transfer. I had nothing really, I over analysed everything in the TWW. I was convinced it hadn’t worked. Then 3 days before Test day, I had only very slight brown when I wiped after a pee. Wasn’t much at all but I could see it. That’s when I thought AF was coming because she was due!’ Anyway made to test day and got a BFP!! I’m not 5weeks 3days, and only symptoms are tired but (not overwhelmingly) and sore boobs but apart from that feel absolutely fine. I’ve even taken another test to make sure I wasn’t dreaming on the first!! and yep it was a very fast BFP. Everyone is different, and don’t put it down as a negative thing. If I hadn’t had IVF and actually saw those embryos drop, I’d still think I’m too normal to be pregnant 😂😂 although woke for a sausage and cheese bap at 4am and that’s hardly normal now I guess. Stay strong and hold out until test day!! Don’t give in

Congratulations!! Thank you sharing your story I am also tired but not even sure if it’s a symptom or side effect from the meds and mental drain lol! Xx

Do try and hold out until test day if you can! I always do this because otherwise I know I’ll doubt the result if I test any earlier. My symptoms were on the decline when I got my BFP, I remember getting very emotional about it. Every single transfer was the same. It certainly taught me that symptoms or lack of can’t be the only barometer we have of the result. Sending you all the luck for test day! Xx

Of89 profile image
Of89 in reply toYellowlove

Thank you so much I’m hoping I get the biggest shock on test day as I don’t feel pregnant at all! Such a mind game xx

Yellowlove profile image
Yellowlove in reply toOf89

I know so many people who felt nothing just before they got their BFP, think about all the people who get pregnant naturally and had no idea! Good luck xxx

my symptoms or lack off for some were different with all three of my transfers. I think symptoms are so individual as much as we look to compare. Just because your body is being quiet doesn’t mean that it isn’t working hard to get that frostie comfy! ❤️ all the best xxx

I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant and I honestly felt nothing during the 2 week wait - I actually had more symptoms (bloating, breast tenderness, cramping, etc.) when it had been unsuccessful! I totally understand what it's like though. I ended up down a Google rabbit hole and convinced myself it hadn't worked. Sending luck and baby dust x

I’m 6dp 5dt (FET) no symptoms at all. Just crying all the time! I had a natural pregnancy two years and had every symptom. Unfortunately, it ended as a miscarriage. No idea what to think of this symptomless week so far.

Of89 profile image
Of89 in reply toNansDav

Same with me my first natural pregnancy that sadly ended I had lots of symptoms think that’s why I’m now wondering if this is normal to not have symptoms I hope so 🤞🏻 When is your test day? X

I’m hoping it’s the drugs that makes it feel different. My test day is Mother’s Day of all days. When’s yours? Fingers crossed it all works out. Transfer day feels like a lifetime ago now x
